Safe Haven Adoptions

Tuesday, January 24th, 2006

It looks like two more adult cats were adopted that I knew personally—Jasmine and Willow.

Jasmine is a beautiful Siamese cat, and she has the cutest crossed eyes.

This is willow. She’s a munchkin cat, meaning she has very short legs.
I’m so happy to know these two adult kitties were adopted.
Unfortunately, another adult cat who was one […]

Fitz and Mia (photos from 12/2005)

Monday, January 23rd, 2006

Here are some photos of my cute kitties taken in Demember.

Mia showing off her white goatee.

Fitz, upon discovering some grey hairs, is trying to look like a kitten again.

Fitz: “Uh…Mia…I don’t think you’re supposed to go in there. You’re gonna get us in trouble again.”

Mia: “Stop being a baby, Fitz! Aren’t you at all curious? […]

Ok, just in case you didn’t know, you CAN post comments to any of my posts. I thought I would mention this since no one writes comments, and perhaps you would like to but don’t know how. Here’s a tutorial.
Step 1: Go to the comments page for desired entry

You notice that at the top of […]

Apple’s Intel TV Ad

Thursday, January 19th, 2006

This was an article posted on http://gattacainc.typepad.com/my_weblog/2006/01/applejack.html discussing Apple’s latest TV ad which IS unfortunately very similar to a Postal Service music video. Of course, this makes sense since Apple hired the same directors who directed the music video, Josh Melnick and Xander Charity. However, it seems very lame to me that a director would […]

Hot damn! I’m a fast typer.

Thursday, January 19th, 2006

I took an online typing test on http://www.typingtest.com to see what my typing speed was these days.
Here’s my score:

Let me be honest and state that the first time I took the test, my gross speed was 85 wpm with 6 mistakes. The result here was from my second attempt taken immediately afterwards.

Recent Safe Haven adoptions

Thursday, January 19th, 2006

Here are updates on cats and kittens that have been adopted since my last post. Unfortunately, there are even more, but I don’t have their photos. We’ve had 3 or 4 adult cats who were adopted which we’re always very happy about since it’s generally kittens that get adopted.
What I don’t understand is why […]

Friends and Family in iLife apps

Wednesday, January 18th, 2006

As I was helping to finalize content and cut assets, I did my best to use my original photography and/or names of friends and family, hoping it would make it into the final release.
Here’s what made it in:
iDVD Themes

For iDVD’s “Shelves” theme, you see photos of my mom, dad and my brother David for the […]

Macworld 2006

Tuesday, January 10th, 2006

Steve Jobs’s Macworld 2006 keynote speech was this morning from 9A-10:45A. This means that I can finally talk about some of the things I’ve been up to these last 7 months.
First though, I want to regurgitate some of his announcements that I’m excited about. As we all know, iPod has been a great money-maker for […]
